I want to be rewarded for my creativity and help others do the same: to have a career “outside the box”—that sells.

I have held editorial internships with Straylight Literary Arts Magazine, Columbia Poetry Review, and RHINO Poetry. My poem “Drowning Lessons” was selected by Carmen Gimenez Smith for the 2017 Lannan Prize, and my poem “Romancing the Crocodile” received an honorable mention in the 2016 Lannan Poetry Contest judged by Honoree Fanonne Jeffers. I was honored to receive the 2016-2017 Nathan Breitling Poetry Fellowship.
